When you go to Dublin the best thing to do is head straight to the pub and indulge in the great Irish pastime of talking, laughing and getting very very drunk together.

Walk down any street in Dublin and you'll notice that every second shop front is a pub and they are all packed with people sitting together and drinking a guinness. Let it settle and then slàinte.

Join in with the traditional singing and music.

Other sites that can't be missed in Dublin are the beautiful Georgian architecture of the inner city, the harbour at Howth, Trinity College and if you are in the mood for more drinking head to the Jameson Distillery and then on to the world famous Guiness factory.

To find it just follow your nose, half of the city smells of hops and barley from the black brew. After drinking your fill, head out for kilmainham gaol to delve into the rich and tragic Irish history or to the Dublin Castle or Christ Church Catherdral.

Then if your liver is still working, go to the Temple Bar, an area completely devoted to pubs, clubs, bars and craic! It's Irish for Fun!
